This stator installation kit contains all the small and sometimes hard-to-find parts such as alternator plug retainer (OEM 29954-71A), stator locking plates (OEM 29988-73) and mounting screws. Fits all Big Twins 1970 thru 1999 except Twin Cam.Note: Always check clearance of alternator wires when replacing stator and/or rotor
